ROLE Brand Design
I first met Susan when we were both designers in Nashville, and she soon became a mentor, guide, co-conspirator, and inspiration. Following her love of books, she eventually found her true calling in the field of bookbinding, and ultimately, creating custom art pieces using original signatures, welding, fine beadwork, paper creating, and unique binding materials.
Again, I was honored to work on her personal branding with her. This project was not completed—as artists and designers, we have a hard time creating something “perfect.” This is where we left it, still trying to decide between three marks. Below the marks is some of her amazing work.
