Project Description
Robin Watson had had her existing website for 5 years. It had allowed her to bill her instruction and accompanying clients online, as well as letting her clients pay her through her website. It was a basic setup that had met her needs quite well for several years, but some months ago she realized that she had outgrown it. She needed a website that would help make her business management even easier, as well as give her additional business tools. In addition to the limited functionality of her existing site, its design was a bit outdated, and didn’t match the new design style of the identity package she had ordered from me in May, 2009.
So she asked me to give her website a complete overhaul. I updated her website’s design, as well as incorporating a number of new features to help make running her business more manageable. I gave her an Administrator Dashboard to let her see a broader view of client activity, from account balances to payments to billing activity. She can now see and sort lists of account balances, billing statements, and payments. Creating new client accounts is much easier and more automated, as is managing existing clients. In the Client Area, her clients can now see more clearly the state of their accounts, and make payments using her website or accessing an existing Paypal account. They can also update their e-mail addresses, contact information and passwords (which had previously been editable only by the admin). And much, much more!
Additionally, we have planned a secondary launch of WatsonPiano.com in March, which will provide a custom content management system to allow Robin to alter her website’s publicly displayed content. New features will let her update her business information, upload photos, and publish e-newsletters. Stay tuned!

WatsonPiano.com Admin Dashboard
The Administrator's Dashboard displays the client account balances (from most owing to least), billing invoices that are overdue/due, recent payments, and recent client account activity. (note: client names have been blurred out to protect their privacy).

A sample billing record. Here the Admin may edit/delete the record, send an e-mail payment reminder, or print a copy of the statement to keep for her records or mail to the client.
WatsonPiano.com New Client Invite Form
The form used to invite new clients. Upon submission, a randomized password is e-mailed to the client at the e-mail address specified in the form, along with login instructions.
