About the Blog
As I’ve mentioned throughout this site, I’m very passionate about what I do. It is a driving force in my life, and is highly fulfilling. As a result, I tend to talk about it. At length. To everyone I know. I suspect that this blog will be no exception.
Hopefully, my quirky interests and odd sense of humor won’t confuse/infuriate you. If they do, well, I won’t be offended if you decide to read the musings of someone more interesting than little ol’ me.

Hourly Comic Day
2.2.10, 09:03pm | The Internet, Webcomics
Yesterday was Hourly Comics Day. I didn’t even know there WAS an Hourly Comics Day until about a month ago, when Lucy Kinsely started drawing “warm-up” hourly comics, to get ready for it. That led me to John Campbell’s daily comic called The Hourly Comic (he also draws Pictures for Sad Children). And tada! I was hooked.
Let me give you a bit of background here. I am a tremendous webcomics nerd. Tremendous. I love webcomics with a passion that is unrivaled even by my great love of the more usual nerdisms, like Futurama, Firefly, and BoingBoing. Sure, I like print comics too, but they’ll never quite compare to the GLORY that is webcomics. What can I say? I, like any good web dev/designer, am a total internet addict. Thus, webcomics are nestled in that perfect niche of adoration and obsession that no web geek can deny.
So, imagine my delight, when yesterday and this morning, the Hourlies Comic Day 2010 forum began filling of with hundreds of entries. Many were truly fantastic, as well as funny, honest, and personable. I thought I ought to share a few of my favorites with you.

Honorable Mentions
This is but a small sampling of the wealth of comics that are to be had at the Hourlies Comic Day 2010 forum. You would be shocked. I was shocked! The sheer volume of posts is impressive and staggering. Aside from the folks I knew, and a couple I had picked at random, I only managed to get through the first 2 pages (of 6) before my clicker-finger got tired. But trust me, there is comic GOLD in those pages. If you’re a fan of the webcomics, I sincerely suggest that you check it out.
OH HEY! I googled my name and this is the first site that came up! Thank you! I am honored to be a honorable mention!
